Thinking of where to spend your New Year’s Eve? On a dancefloor in Ibiza listening to some of the finest talent delivering the perfect soundtrack is not the worst way to start the decade. Malanga Café opens its doors on December 31 from 22.30, with Andy Wilson (Ibiza Sonica) and Scott Gray (Melon Bomb) joining Andreas and DJ Bebe in bringing in the new year. A string, island based line-up, with a considerable amount of international experience makes for an exciting proposition as the curtain falls on Ibiza 2019.

Scott Gray

Malanga Café is a popular local haunt all year round but, during the winter, it becomes a focal point for the lovers of cutting-edge music and an electric atmosphere living on the island. It has already delivered some memorable late nights dancing to the chunkiest of beats and New Year’s Eve offers the perfect opportunity to welcome the new year and the new decade surrounded by friends and listening to the best music. The intimate space has hosted many of the talented DJs that call Ibiza home and consistently delivers a roof-threatening vibe, expect that to be amplified when it comes to the year-end celebration.

Andy Wilson

Andy Wilson needs very little introduction, his distinctive voice has graced the Ibiza Sonica airwaves for as long as we can remember, his ability to curate a musical journey is second to none and he knows how to move a dancefloor. Joining Andy is Scott Gray, part of the Melon Bomb collective that has entertained the island in recent years, both through their own parties and as guests of some of the biggest club brands. It’s a duo that is more than capable of destroying any dancefloor and one that revels in the responsibility of such an auspicious occasion. Andreas and DJ Bebe offer the perfect support as Malanga Café gets set for 2020.
