Exciting things are happening in Talamanca. The quieter neighbour of Ibiza Town’s glamorous Marina Botafoch area has been gaining momentum with the arrival of several new hotels and restaurants on its beachfront of late. Taking pride of place in the middle of the bay is The Harbour Club Ibiza, an airy and elegant beach bar and restaurant that has gained huge popularity amongst island insiders and visitors alike thanks to its prime location, beautifully styled surroundings and excellent food and drinks offering. Now, to meet the demands of its ever-growing fan base, as well as snapping up another coveted spot on this up-and-coming stretch of sand, June 1st sees the internationally renowned Harbour chain add a new jewel to its crown in the shape of The Harbour Café Ibiza.

Opening its doors this summer with a glamorous launch party, the venue – still mysteriously kept under wraps with the teasing hashtag #secretspot – promises to become the place to go for nightlife lovers. Staying open later than its neighbouring sibling The Harbour Club Ibiza, it’s the perfect location to drop in just one door down to continue the fun after a day or evening spent at the beach club original.

With the same beautiful views over Talamanca Bay – all the better visible from the rooftop – the new venue is just as immaculately styled as its sister property, although it has a slightly more urban aesthetic. Taking a sneaky peak at the interiors before the grand opening, the vibe of The Harbour Café Ibiza combines city cool with a touch of vintage. Think ornate black statement wallpaper, black padded leather seats, exposed lightbulbs and tarnished metal lampshades. An outdoor area contrasts white wooden features with spacious circular black leather booths and statement lights, inviting guests to chill out and take in the beautiful views on the Mediterranean sea. And, immediately identifying a killer Instagram photo opportunity, we spotted a cute vintage coffee van serving up beverages.

Focusing on Asian cuisine, guests can expect fresh salads, fish cooked in Eastern-inspired styles and an excellent variety of delicious and colourful sushi, nigiri and sashimi plates. Seafood like lobster and prawns, as well as juicy meat specialities, will send foodies into 7th heaven. With DJs set to play every night at this cool new late night hotspot, as well as other surprise entertainment on the cards, this is one new insider secret you might want to keep to yourself, but ultimately too good not to share!
