Nestled in the tranquillity of the Can Palau hills is Casa Maca, the converted 300-year old farmhouse that has charmed its way into the heart of tourists and islanders this year. From the Mambo stable, the stylish gem offers an authentic rural experience minutes from the edge of Ibiza Town. The good news for fans, and those that have yet to have the pleasure, is that it remains open all year round.

This weekend saw DJ Buda offer a cool soundtrack as Casa Maca fired up the grill for lunch, with Kids From Ibiza making sure the little ones are kept happy and busy. It gives the adults a chance to catch up and enjoy the trappings on Ibiza’s latest destination. If you’re dropping in for lunch, we recommend calling ahead and booking your table in advance. The weekend special will return on December 29 and 30, as it gets ready to welcome 2019. For those still pondering what to do on Christmas Day, look no further; Casa Maca offers a special menu and joyful vibe, in front of the open fires, where the staff will extend its usual warm welcome.
