IMS College Malta 2018

International Music Summit has announced it will return to Malta between September 14-15 for the third edition of its educational initiative, IMS College. The two-day gathering delivers a crash course in electronic music performance, production, promotion and publishing; offering delegates a chance to learn by day and party by night.

Taking place at Malta’s Intercontinental Hotel, the Summer Camp badge is priced at just €50 for the two day/ night extravaganza. The two-day schedule will include an intimate interview with world renowned artist Dubfire as well as speakers from AEI, elrow, Beatport, Ultra Music and Warner Records. The programme offers the next generation of electronic music artists the tools and knowledge they need to build a career in the industry, working in partnership with the Association For Electronic Music, leading music production institute Point Blank Music School and Berklee College of Music, a preeminent institute of contemporary music. September 14/15 will be filled with carefully curated seminars, workshops and discussions as well as interactive sessions, while at night a selection of talented artists will deliver parties throughout the weekend.

Spanish party giants elrow will drop in on Uno Village for a special gathering featuring Dubfire, Camelphat, the talented elrow residents and Maltese star Carl Bee. Ibiza born and raised duo the Mambo Brothers will deliver a rooftop sunset at Sky Beach bar, while fellow Ibicencan Manu Gonzalez will headline Playground. Nicolas Spiteri from Maltese partner 356 Entertainment Group states “IMS College Malta is now entering its third year. This educational platform has become an integral part of our yearly calendar and as always we look forward to hosting several international guests and speakers to Malta. This year for the first time ever we have elrow hosting the Saturday night time event at Uno.”
