Did you get lucky and lost this summer in Ibiza? If so, the chances are you found yourself in the heart of Paradise Lost, the rum and cocktail watering hole in the heart of Ibiza Town’s gypsy quarter. Inspired by Milton’s seminal poem of the same name, depicting the struggle between good and evil in the garden of Eden, the charming late-night spot has found its spiritual home in Ibiza, an island with similar dichotomies.

The good news is that Paradise Lost remains open all year round and offers a series of intimate gatherings in the company of some of the island’s finest musical talent, the latest of which sees Graham Sahara invite you ‘Back To Mine’ on Saturday November 25. With an ability to cross musical genres with ease and a record collection the envy of many, Graham Sahara promises a musical journey through old school hip hop, funk, northern soul, acid jazz and big beat at Paradise Lost. Recognised at the recent DJ Awards as the best Ibiza DJ (joint with Paul Reynolds), Graham Sahara has been at the heart of many of the best Ibiza parties, both in summer and winter. Saturday, November 25 sees him given licence to exercise his creative muscles, dig through his crates and take the bar on a trip it won’t forget.

The cosy speakeasy in the heart of Sa Penya has emerged as one of the go-to winter destinations. With James ‘Jimmy’ Harvey behind the bar delivering some mind-blowing concoctions and a string of talented spinners – including Lorcan Kelly, David Phillips, Jon Woodall, The Brothers Grim and now Graham Sahara – in charge of the booth, it has the makings of something very special. Winter in Ibiza always sees a selection of concepts come to the fore, where that local vibe offers residents a chance to kick back and celebrate living on the island. We predict some late-night shenanigans, unbelievable musical journeys and plenty of voodoo punch inspired hangovers! It might not be the easiest bar to find on the island but it’s well worth the effort!
