One of the key benefits of living on the beautiful island of Ibiza is that when the end of the weekend edges nearer, the only kind of ‘blues’ we have to deal with are the multiple shades found in the Mediterranean sea. And from this Sunday onwards, we’ll have another reason to look forward to the seventh day of the week as Elements Ibiza is set to throw a fresh series of evening events in the face of sensible school nights.

While locals will be able to ignore the fact that Monday and a return to work are looming for just a few hours longer, visitors to the island can relish the exhilarating feeling of knowing that after drinking, eating and dancing the night away at the popular beach club, no alarm will have to be set for the next morning.

With its stunning sea views, gorgeous natural surroundings, and, of course, the traditional percussion drumming at sundown, it’s hard to imagine a more relaxing way to spend a Sunday than at Cala Benirras. But once the sun has set beyond the horizon, the Elements crew is turning up the music to introduce the ‘funday’ aspect of the day, with entertainment set to begin at 9pm. Every week, the venue will be collaborating with different promoters to throw an ‘after sunset’ party that celebrates music, life and good vibes. So what’s in store on May 1st, the official opening of Sundays @ Elements? The evening will be introduced with a live performance by Yar, an act combining deep and light vocals with harp sounds, before a number of DJ sets open up the dance floor.

A highlight will be Jon Sa Trinxa’s debut at the venue, who is already well known on the island for playing the finest of chill out tunes and lounge tracks at other iconic beach and sunset spots like Amante, Sunset Ashram and, of course, Sa Trinxa. Also taking over the booth will be Samir (Dirty Diamond), Nik Stim (V2K-Records) and Camillo (Slak Recordings). Dinner will be offered until 11pm, with ‘magic cocktails’ fuelling the undoubtedly already joyful atmosphere. And there will, of course, also be the opportunity to enjoy a little massage or indulge in a spot of retail therapy in the well-stocked boutique. The Elements motto is ‘be the change you want to see in the world’, so if we’re looking to make the planet a happier, more peaceful place, this is not at all a bad way to start.
