Disco dancers and golden records, giving us that Saturday night fever at HEART Ibiza every Saturday is all-new residency, Déjà Vu. Taking us back to the soulful era of bubbly house and disco classics, Saturday saw the opening night with a Studio 54 throwback. No other than a former DJ at the iconic New York club himself, Jellybean Benitez brought the revival to the white isle. The legend held stage all night alongside island favourites Tuccillo and Aracil. The night was unlike anything else HEART Ibiza has seen, a frivolous mood swapping house and disco for all the feel-good favourites; full of fun and plenty of swank.

Arriving into HEART Ibiza, the vibe was infectiously bubbly as Jellybean Benitez already had everyone grooving on the dancefloor. Serving out anthems like ‘Where Love Lives’ and ‘Lola’s Theme’ by The UK Shapeshifters, people were singing along on the floor – strangers fast becoming friends. There was no facing the DJ booth in a stupor as Benitez threw out every single classic. In a stylish venue like HEART Ibiza, with the glamorous crowd it so often attracts, the music policy and the vibe set a flirty and fun tone.

Glimmering dancers dressed in sparkly bell-bottom catsuits filtered out, big afro wigs on, vogueing and shapeshifting to the vivacious beats. It wouldn’t be HEAR Ibiza either without its famous visual extravaganza which bathed the dancefloor all night in a kaleidoscopic light show that twirled and bounced in time with the music. Purple was the colour of the night, as lights and costumed brought the luxe-disco vibe. Taking a moment on the stunning rooftop terrace, the decking was only partially opened creating a more intimate setting. A fortune teller in a beautiful white gown sat positioned in the centre offering mystical readings. Certainly, with the venue’s giant heart-shaped neon light on the terrace and the colourful mood of the party underneath, the mood was magical and extra-friendly.
