The changes makes this one of the most exciting seasons doe the illustrious brand.

Defected in Ibiza

May 25 until September 28 sees Defected In The House take up residence in Bomba Ibiza, the latest club to burst on to the Ibiza scene. The venue, located in Marina Botafoc, will include a custom built Pioneer sound system, the first of its kind and is the brainchild of celebrated restauranteur Giuseppe Cipriani. Collaborating with GC on the project is two of Ibiza’s most experienced club operators, Danny Whittle and Mark Netto, bringing substantial weight to the collective not to mention a lifetime of trust built up with many of the island’s top talent.

Defected In The House is one of those talents, a label that has successfully charted the progress of house music since its inception, constantly finding new talent and getting the best out of their existing stars, providing a credible vehicle for discerning house music lovers everywhere. The list of DJs, producers and performers that has confirmed already for the new Saturday night residency reads like a who’s who of the last decade or so in house music, including the likes of Duke Dumont, Disclosure, Dennis Ferrer, Noir, Nick Curly, Tensnake, MK, Skream, Simon Dunmore, Flashmob, Derrick Carter and Copyright, to name only a few. Expect many more house giants to be announced in the coming weeks, as they get set to test the new custom made Pioneer system with some of the finest house beats around.

As if one new residency wasn’t enough reason to be getting excited about, and it is, Defected are also moving into the much talked about Ushuaia project, The Tower, making Mondays a free party called DFTD, a weekly party that will champion emerging Ibiza and international talent. The Monday also gives Defected an opportunity to showcase some of the other talented labels that it works closely with, meaning that many of the most influential labels on the scene now have a platform to show off their collective talents.

Defected founder Simon Dunmore is understandably optimistic about the new season, saying; “After a decade on the island it was time for a change, so curating two parties at brand new destinations allows Defected to build upon its recent evolution and gives us the perfect opportunity to showcase both our new and established artists. The line-up not only reflects our heritage but shows we are still committed to nurturing new talent. It is great to be part of a refreshed Ibiza clubbing landscape and we look forward to welcoming everybody to both venues.”
