Bottomless Brunching At Kasbah Ibiza

Known for its Mediterranean food delights, refreshingly tasty cocktails and unspoilt sunset views: Kasbah Ibiza is a tucked-away piece of San Antonio holiday heaven. Located just a short walk from the well-known sunset strip, Kasbah offers a more relaxed dining and drinking experience, with all of the north of the island’s coastal beauty still in vision. With plenty of evening entertainment and tapas goodness to tuck into, Kasbah now offers a bottomless brunch, where – for €30 a head – you can choose one dish from its brunch menu and indulge in as many drinks as you can manage in an hour (and yes, this does include booze!). Essential Ibiza gave it a try.

The first thing that’ll grab your attention at Kasbah is its sea view. It boasts a perfectly perched position overlooking the quiet Kanya beach coast. With that, the atmosphere of the bar and restaurant feels warm, inviting and typically Ibiza. For this early day occasion, the place felt relaxed as the mid-day sun began to show its face. If breakfast is too much of a hard task after a heavy night out, then brunch is the perfect chance to refuel. Why else would someone invent a breakfast-lunch fusion? They must have had a hangover, for sure.

Thankfully on this occasion, our heads were fresh, clear and ready – now bring on the booze. Kasbah’s bottomless brunch menu includes one hour of all you can drink. With red and white sangria, jugs of bucks fizz, sex on the beach, ice-cold beer on draught and – of course – tea and coffee, you’d better position yourself close to a bathroom. Opting for a couple of coffees to start, with some beers on the way later, it was time to take a look at Kasbah’s brunch offerings.

From eggs benedict to scrambled with salmon to a healthy yoghurt and granola breakfast bowl; Kasbah’s brunch menu has all kinds of belly-firing, late-morning treats you can sample as part of its 11am-2pm dining deal. Opting for poached eggs with avocado and asparagus on seeded toast – along with a fruity breakfast bowl, which included banana, pecans, apple, kiwis, dried fruit, yoghurt and a generous sprinkling of crunchy granola – our mid-day hunger pangs were more than satisfied. Brunch is a real winning option during an Ibiza stay that may include a late night or two. With picturesque sea views, a relaxed dining atmosphere and wonderfully prepared food with fresh ingredients: Kasbah is an ideal brunching option – and don’t forget the bottomless booze!
