One of my favourite pastimes is a stroll around the stunning Marina Botafoch with its breath-taking views of the Old Town, laden with luxury shops of fashion, art and jewellery and surrounded by a jaw-dropping backdrop of sleek yachts. It’s a place that embraces the intermingling of the island’s international elite., and home of the glamorous Blue Marlin Ibiza Marina, a sister venue to the famous seaside destination in Cala Jondal. This week, the elegant restaurant and bar opens its doors for the summer of 2018 with a Grand Opening on May 18th.

With its enviable location, Blue Marlin Ibiza Marina is one of the areas most desirable places to be spotted. With its stylish cocktail bar, open-air terrace restaurant and comfy seating, it is the perfect place to kick back and watch the world go by whatever time of the day you choose to visit. Why not begin your day with a hearty breakfast? Here you will find organic eggs, homemade granola, delicious fresh bread and pastries or a detox juice for the health conscious. As the day progresses, the restaurant menu embraces traditional elements of Peruvian cooking whilst creating a contemporary cuisine to-die-for.

The Grand Opening will treat us to the musical delights of Oscar Akagy, who has been playing in Ibiza since 2013 and has been a resident at Blue Marlin Ibiza Marina for a few years. The evening will begin at 19.00 with welcome cocktails and canapés until 22.00, with the special Grand Opening Menu being served from 20.00 onwards.
