Big Weekend For The Twin Cherries

Posted on December 1, 2015

December already and all eyes are turning to the end of year festivities that Ibiza has excelled at in recent years. There are a few weekends of fun to be had before then however, and where better than Pacha Ibiza to keep the island dancing? With over four decades of staying open all year round Pacha knows what it takes to fill its floor during the off-season. A selection of local and international DJs as well as some exciting new and returning parties means that there is plenty of activity under the watchful eyes of the twin cherries. This weekend sees four nights of magical musical mayhem from Friday through to Monday as a range of talented performers line up to show their unique skills.

Lost In Ibiza

The weekend gets under way on Friday December 4 with Piscolabis, a combination of music, fashion and hair and make up in the famous club from 21.00h. It’s an early start to the weekend and one that embraces multiple creative platforms; Front Line delivers the fashion show and there is hair and make up from Lips Beauty Ibiza. The musical responsibility lies with Romeo D’Arret, a name that islanders will be all too familiar with. The fun continues later in the club as celebrated Ibiza boat party Lost in Ibiza makes its Pacha debut. Lost In Ibiza has made its name as one of the cooler boat parties, delivering an underground line up that matches the more famous club venues. Friday December 4 sees it assemble a fitting line up as it gets set to take over the Pacha booth for the first time; Hector Moralez, Justin Harris, Ken Fan, Ryan O’Gorman and Graham Sahara promise an exciting underground soundtrack.

Celebrated Ibiza radio station Ibiza Global radio takes control of Pacha on Saturday December 5 as Anna Tur, David Moreno, José Maria Ramón B2B Miguel Garj, Tony Moreno live and Ángel Linde. The Ibiza Global line up is proof of the depth of talent that exists on the clubbing capital with the stars of the airwaves living up to their motto – “We Make Ibiza Dance.” The names are familiar to those living on the island as they blast out of island stereos daily but also because they make up some of the biggest summer line ups, complimenting the international talent that descends on the island each year. The amazing music continues on Sunday December 6 with a Chronovision Ibiza showcase. The underground label is home to some of the naughtiest beats as well as artists that produce them. The showcase features an impressive pedigree of DJ with Rene (Circo Loco DC10) headlining, supported by Horatio (Desolat), Markel (Yoruba), JP Chronic, Tom Pool, Barakus and I.C.E. The musical spectacular comes to a fitting finale on Monday December 7 as Can Vinilo records takes over the famous booth. Nima Gorji, David Sanchez, Naza and Angel Linde are charged with bringing the curtain down on the biggest weekend since the end of the summer season and they are more than qualified. Pacha Ibiza keeps the island dancing all year round with the help of some of the most exciting new parties and established island DJs.
