Banana Studio Recognised By Disney

It has been an exciting start to the new year for the team at Banana Dance Studio, with rehearsals in full swing towards the Sunday March 10 Aladdin Pantomime show at Centre Cultural de Jesus, Banana Dance and Drama Academy has also been invited to perform at Disneyland Paris at its ‘A Time To Shine’ event in May 2020. It’s huge recognition of the hard work and passion that goes into the studio in Santa Eulalia and of the talent that it nurtures.

Located on the east coast of the island, in Santa Eulalia, Banana Dance Studios offers an environment for people of all ages and skill to come together and enjoy dance and drama and fitness. There are a variety of classes available, across multiple genres and levels, so the team is always on hand to offer advice to make sure you find the class that is best suited to you. Clients range from 3 to 70 years of age and with three large studios, three bathrooms with shower, there’s always something fun happening! The classes are all taught by highly qualified professionals with years of experience, and as well as the classes, they can be booked for our NEW Summer Launch of ‘Go Banana’s ON THE GO offering Performing Arts Kids Entertainment / Babysitting Services, Dance and Fitness Classes to clients villas, houses, boats. Want to see the Banana Dance Studio talent in action? Sunday March 10 at Centre Culture de Jesus is the time and place to catch its Aladdin Pantomime show (in English). The adaptation features hilarious comedy characters depicting the famous Aladdin story, with lots of singing and dancing and fun for all the family. It will be the first time they have brought the unique flavour of English panto to Ibiza, and is a must see! While preparation of for the panto is in full swing, the students and teachers at Banana Studios could be forgiven for having one eye on 2020 and the opportunity to audition for ‘A Time To Shine’. It takes two years of training at an academy to be invited to perform at Disney and Banana Studios will join a selection of respected academies across Europe, with those chosen performing in the Videopolis Theatre as well as in the Disney Parade! Thise chosen students will also stay in Disney for three days, with access to all of its amazing facilities as well as being invited to a special Disney Performing Arts Workshop, hosted by a Disney professional coach. This is an invaluable experience for anyone, not to mention aspiring dancers and performers, who will experience what it is like to be a professional.
