Ibiza is widely regarded as the clubbing capital of the world, setting the standard for clubbing experiences that the rest of the world usually follows. No matter how you like to do your socialising, Ibiza has you covered and more often than not, in spectacular style. Tonight, we are on our way to Playa d’en Bossa to witness one of our favourite venues, Nassau Beach, being inducted into ‘The World’s Finest Clubs’.
World’s Finest Clubs is a membership organisation that identifies the most exclusive nightclubs around the world and bestows upon them a ‘World’s Finest Clubs Award’. To be granted this award means your establishment has passed several strict vetting stages and operates at a level far above the norm, providing an exclusive experience for your high-end clientele. This is not a major shock to us, we have long believed that Nassau is one of the finest venues on the island and it looks as if we are not alone, as the beach front club is packed.
Friends and regulars mingle in the stunning setting on Playa d’en Bossa, gourmet nibbles are provided and there is entertainment in the shape of a DJ and a live violinist, who casually makes her way between the crowd, gracefully accompanying the DJ. Location plays a big part in the appeal of a club and as we look out over the beach to the Mediterranean, with the stars lighting up the sky, we can’t help bit think Nasau has been blessed. It’s a popular addition to the long list of exclusive clubs that the World’s Finest Clubs members can enjoy, whether that be during the day, relaxing on a luxury lounger or at night for some fine dining followed by dancing.
Nassau joins a long list of establishments around the world on the World Finest Clubs network, clubs, hotels and restaurants that they have carefully measured to ensure that they live up to the standard that their members have come to expect; clubs likes of Lavo New York, VIP Room Paris, Mint Singapore, Adagio Berlin, restaurants such as Haute Zurich, Soho Dining Room Moscow and Zaplet Belgrade and luxury hotels like Banyan tree Bangkok, Burj Al Arab Dubai and Pousada Picinguaba Rio de Janeiro, to name only a few. Nassau is in good company.
Nassau has a reputation for going that bit further when it comes to putting on a show and as we get ready for the presentation, the beach in front of the club becomes a stage as we are treated to a stunning piece of equestrianism. Back inside and Christian Braun is invited to the stage, where he receives the ‘World’s Finest Club Award’ before thanking his regulars, many of whom are now his friends, Nassau has been officially recognised as the amazing venue we all knew it was, that’s cause for a celebration!
