Iconic club Space may have seen its Ibiza journey come to an end but the party lives on. While the clubbing capital goes into winter mode, some of the names that have become synonymous with the Balearic island go on the road. Space Ibiza returns to Sydney for the ninth edition of its New Year’s Day bash at the Greenwood with Patrick Topping, Pleasurekraft, Adana Twins, Jasper James and Javi Bora headlining.

There are certain parties that outlive their venue, while the club world said a tearful goodbye to Space Ibiza at the end of the 2016 season, the legend lives on. Clubbers in Sydney have become used to kick-starting their year on the Space dancefloor, with the past eight years offering roadblock parties on January first. The Greenwood is the perfect host for the legendary party and, 2018 sees the continuation of the tradition of inviting some of the hottest talent on the underground scene to oversee proceedings.

The Greenwood is no stranger to hosting world famous underground gatherings, recent visitors include Circoloco and Global Underground, for a fantastic 20-year celebration. Offering a unique al fresco vibe, it has a real authentic Space Terrace vibe. Sydney has a history of embracing the party, it’s clubbing community has offered one of the most vibrant atmospheres of any global destination and one that international artists are always keen to enjoy. Monday January 1 sees Space return for the ninth, and want promises to be the biggest gathering. Patrick Topping continues to strove towards global domination, appearing at the world’s biggest clubs and festivals. He is joined by a selection of exciting talent that has proved itself more than capable of rocking any party, including Pleasurekraft, Adana Twins, Jasper James and Javi Bora, with many more to be announced. Tickets are already flying out of the door already so make sure you grab yours before they have sold out and get 2018 off to the best possible start!
