This is a big week for Ocean Beach Club Ibiza and for San Antonio, as the missing piece in the puzzle gets set to open. The beach club adds yet another positive to the resort in the west of the island, giving genuine VIP options for day and night time activity. Essentialibiza was lucky enough to have been invited down by Tony Truman and Duane Lineker at the end of last season to check out the plot and have a sneak peak at the plans. Having returned to the site for the first time at the end of last week, we couldn’t believe our eyes. The two plots had been completely cleared and the plans had come to fruition.
The pool looks spectacular, the tiling around it set to sparkle when the sun goes down and the lights come on. VIP beds inside the pool will be hugely popular and the rest of the facilities are almost complete. Pearl restaurant looks stunning and is set to host several late night parties. Thursday June 28 is the date to remember as the ambitious project is right on track for opening. The soundsystem was arriving as we made our way around the site, still trying to get our head round the transformation in such a short period of time. We can’t wait for the opening; Ocean Beach Club Ibiza promises to make a huge impact on Ibiza this summer. If you haven’t visited the island yet, it’s not too late to hit the gym!
