Mamboats is the latest addition to Ibiza’s numerous lifestyle options, a day out on a luxury Mastercraft, with tours tailored to meet every need. The latest, the Benirras VIP, sees the boat head north, stopping now and again in breathtaking coves, surrounded by imposing cliff faces, making a dramatic swimming and snorkelling experience. Heading up the coast to the north of the island offers some amazing scenery along the way, several carefully placed villas look out of the Mediterranean, straight out of a James Bond movie!
Benirras provides one of the most distinctive views from the golden sandy beach; the rock formation that splits the view out from the beach is one of the island’s most popular pictures. Coming into the beach from the sea offers a slightly different perspective and as we drift past it, people are climbing up the side of the famous rock and diving into the clear blue sea. Where did the idea come from for Mamboats?
I want to be able to offer Ibiza something different to the everyday, overcrowded boat party. Therefore, Mamboats became the perfect idea that gives everyone the opportunity to come on board a special, luxury yet affordable, boat experience.
You had floated your idea around a few Ibiza businesses, what makes Mambo the perfect partner for this adventure?
Mambo as I see it is the new generation of Ibiza. The class and the professionalism compliments and works well with Mamboats.
What drew you to Ibiza with your idea in the first place?
The culture, the beauty of the island, and my ongoing drive for creating new ideas.
You tailor the options depending on the party on board; tell us a bit about them?
We now offer numerous varieties of amazing trips, from full on water sports days to a private masseuse and five star service from an onboard host. We cater for everyone and we do the unthinkable by offering our customers a variety of drinks onboard our boats as well as the option to have lunch in Ibiza’s best restaurants and visit some of Ibiza’s most breathtaking spots, checking out stunning landscapes.
What’s your favourite part about taking new people out on the boat?
Seeing how much fun that they have and knowing that the memory will stay with them for life.
Hiring a boat charter has always been a popular Ibiza past time, maybe not always accessible to normal tourists, was this the thinking behind making Mamboats an affordable luxury for all?
Yes, in my eyes everyone is equal and should have the chance to experience the amazing adventure Mamboats has to offer.
Once you are out on Mamboats, what other activities do you offer?
Inflatables, snorkelling, wakeboarding, waterskiing, instruction, touring and being able to dance to live streaming music from Cafe Mambo and the world class DJs who play there.
Is Mamboats the ultimate VIP table for sunset?
Yes! There’s no other boat as elegantly stylish and sexy as ours.
Are there plans to develop the idea further?
That would be telling, all I can say is that the boats will keep getting bigger and better.
After dinner and some more time for enjoying the sea, we head back towards San Antonio, with the sun setting on our right hand side, we get the most amazing view as we speed through the water. We have been lucky enough to spend a bit of time with the Mamboats guys and there really is no better experience to make your holiday memorable.
