Sa Punta restaurant is a great place to dine and shop! Rita owns the restaurant with Rodolphe, they wanted to bring a touch of fashion into their restaurant as they have many clients from around the world eating here, so why not give them the opportunity to purchase something fabulous. Rita opened the shop 5 years before stocking ibichic style fabrics with silks adorned in beads, the store is full of many different brands from Paris, Australia, USA and of course our homegrown Ibicenco labels, such as World Family Ibiza and of course Las Noches…
Eric and Jack are one of the most chic partnerships on the island, together they are Las Noches. Think bohemian glam girls, these guys are fashion veterans. Working for Burberry and Chloe previously, but 10 yrs ago that all changed when, on moving to Ibiza, they began selling vintage. Then 4 yrs ago, they launched their own label, it all started with just one sewing machine and an embellished military jacket, everyone in Ibiza wanted the Las Noches military jacket! And so Las Noches answered the demand and made their first collection. With sunshine as their inspiration, Las Noches is for all of the sexy hippy chicas out there. Each item hand embellished, with bead, mirrors, sequins and embroidery, with a colour palette of pastels, black and whites. This dedicated duo knows its clothes.
Las Noches sees women like a light, shining strong, they see the Las Noches woman as an inspiration to men. This is their first fashion show, in Sa Punta, so let the show begin! With an up beat DJ set, the girls marched around Sa Puna restaurant with wide smiles, shaking it to the beats as they walked. Blue cotton playsuits and pink baby doll dresses accessorized with gold cuffs, detachable sleeves and shoulder length oversized earrings. Next out was the white goddess look, a white cotton calf length dress with bell sleeves and beautiful hand crafted embroidery. Las Noches had created a boho goddess – lace dresses, crochet sleeves. A fabulous blue, calf length flared dress with mirrors adorning the back and shoulders! White cheesecloth dresses with a sheered hemline, styled with a wide leather gold wrap belt – I was in love!
Bikinis and kaftans, sequin encrusted eveningwear, cottons and silks, ra ra skirts and lace lined jumpsuits. Las Noches has your summer wardrobe of Boho Glam at the ready. Their collection is all about feminine beauty, each piece made with such careful consideration, adorned in beautiful decoration and detail. For me, Las Noches is the only place to find your BOHO GLAM this summer, with two shops to choose from there is no excuse not to be rocking Las Noches in 2012.
