It’s Saturday night in KM5 and the ladies are in charge. Lady’s Soul is the party in the famous enchanted garden lounge/ restaurant and Monica Mira and Jo Mills are the femme’s fatale charged with making us dance. KM5 provides a stunning backdrop to this cool party, the venue has several areas in which to enjoy the music. Whether you want to be in the centre of the dancefloor, relaxed at the bar or slouched in one of the huge couches in the tented area enjoying some shisha, KM5 has it all covered.
When we arrive at KM5, dinner is still underway in the restaurant and there is a real buzz in the air, this is a venue that holds an atmosphere, even though most of it is outdoors. The garden is stunning, lights hang from the trees and there is a fashion show in full flow as two sexy models wander around in the latest dresses to be seen in. We enjoy a delicious cocktail and catch up with old friends as Monica Mira delivers a cool set to get the party started.
The garden area is busy now, the dinner crowd has moved down to join in the party and party people have arrived specifically for Lady’s Soul. The event is being broadcast on Sonica so once again the tireless crew from our favourite station is on hand to make sure you can enjoy the Ibiza atmosphere, even if you can’t be here in person! Two dancers, in spectacular glittering capes, take to the podiums opposite the DJ booth in the garden and the volume increases as people start dancing around the venue.
After midnight the party moves indoors to a cool space, perfect for an intimate gathering and before long it is full, the beats are amazing and the evening really gathers momentum. Ibiza is full of amazing venues, which have unique spaces in which to enjoy some of the finest DJs around, and that’s exactly what’s going on in KM5 tonight. Monica and Jo are delivering a flawless mix of deep house to a room full of smiling music lovers and the atmosphere is unbelievable. Ibiza is rightly famous for its huge super clubs but it’s these intimate gatherings that set it apart from any other clubbing destination, the unique places where a sound system and set of decks usually results in one of the most memorable parties of the summer. What a perfect way for Jo Mills to celebrate her birthday!
