What is Ibiza Delivers?
Ibiza Delivers is the island’s first online supermarket which supplies locally sourced, fine food and drinks to private villas and yachts. We also offer a special service designed for supplying chefs and events companies. Ibiza Delivers is working with the island’s leading suppliers, combined with specially imported produce to create an offering of more than 2,500 products that can be easily ordered and delivered direct to any location on the island at a time requested by the client. Our offer also includes an After Hours drinks service, which runs throughout the night
What prompted you to launch your business?
Having spent years coming to Ibiza we had often been frustrated by the lack of a delivery service to easily re-stock provisions at our villa. It was a logical step to introduce a service that could achieve this and also tie in with chefs and caterers.
Describe a typical Ibiza Delivers customer?
Because of the way we have set-up our business we can service a wide range of clients. Many of our private clients reside on the island for long periods and are regularly entertaining guests at their own villas, so our service fits very well. Our other private clients rent mid to top end properties and are here to have a good time…! Whether it’s day or night we can always ensure that supplies never run out.
Your deliveries are not restricted to villas and apartments though, are they?
No, we deliver to yachts and other locations too; anywhere we are asked to really. Ibiza Delivers is a members service so as long as you’re a member we’ll try and accommodate your needs as best we can.
What are the benefits of using Ibiza Delivers?
The two main words that describe our service is quality and convenience. Ibiza Delivers enables its clients to shop for the best quality fresh produce in one, online supermarket and have it delivered at a time of their choice.
Ibiza Delivers is much more than a personal food shopping service, what other services do you offer?
Our online supermarket is our predominant service, you can order from a range of over 2,500 products. However there is much more on offer than food, we have a wide selection of drinks, cleaning products for the house and even some sea toys. So in terms of services, view us absolutely as the one shop, home delivery food and drinks service on Ibiza.
What’s the strangest food you’ve been asked to source?
Whilst not strange in many parts of the world, we were asked for a large amount of Kosher meat the other day. It took a bit of searching, but we managed to find a Jewish butcher.
Is there anything you’ve been asked for that you couldn’t deliver?
Not yet…
What made you choose Ibiza as the place to set up your business?
Of course we love the island and who wouldn’t want to live here but we also saw a genuine business opportunity. We also knew that we had some great friends and contacts on the island, many who have business that we are now working closely with.
How do you relax in your down time?
Down time is a precious thing these days. When we’re feeling wholesome then a good yoga session on the terrace works wonders. If not then watching the sunset with a cold beer and some good friends never gets tiring.
You spend most of your time delivering food to people, if you could have any meal delivered to you, what would be your ideal meal?
