We don’t know Sean personally, like many of you who have already donated, but we are touched by the togetherness and community that has pulled together to help another human being, we couldn’t think of a better way to express the situation than what is already on the Help Sean Connolly facebook group…
“As you may well know by now Sean Connolly is currently in a critical condition in hospital in Mumbai. Having set off for a 2 week holiday on Friday 12th October he was admitted to hospital on the evening of Saturday 13th October and is currently on life support and fighting for survival.
As yet the cause is unclear but quite frankly all that matters is that Sean gets through this so he can come home! Those of us who know Sean will agree that he is a strong soul and he isn’t going to give up without a fight but in true Sean fashion he was travelling without any insurance and we need to give him and his family all the support we can.
The medical bill for the last few days is already well in to the thousands and in order to give him the best chance possible he needs to move in to a private hospital and receive the best treatment costing in excess of £1000 a day. We need to all come together and raise enough money to get him there! Times are tough for all of us but anything that can be given may well help save our friends life. All the love and positive vibes in the world coming your way Sean. We know you can do it. X”
