What’s the theme of this year’s boat party?
The theme for our boats this year, as our club, is Alter Ego. We choose this because at Garlands we encourage people to leave normal life behind and let their dreams become their reality. Be who you want to be is our motto.
Why have boat parties become the must do Ibiza experience this summer?
Since the government banned day time parties this is the best way around it and lets be honest, could you possibly think of a more perfect party than losing all you inhibitions to become part of the experience whilst melting into the ibiza sun set? Just take a look at our most recent videos.
Garlands has a reputation as one of the most glamorous parties around, how dos this translate onto a boat?
On each boat we have our Garlands entertainment team, who are not just the average girl in a thong but instead crazy club kids who are there to make you feel special, covering you in glitter and encouraging you to be who you truly want to be!
Where do you sail from and how would you describe the music policy?
The pre party is at Linekers and we sail from just a bit further towards the west end. Our music policy is “fuck the journey lets twat it!” Just big tunes guaranteed to make you throw your hands up and lose yourself.
Who are your DJs?
This year our residents are Les Calvert, Lil Jon and Dave booth.
Do you have an affiliation with a club for an after party?
Our after party this year is at We Love Space and as you know this is one of the island’s, if not the world’s, best parties.
There are more boats going out than ever before this summer, what makes Garlands one of the most popular?
Our party is about you and no one else and it is what it is meant to be, FUN!
What’s your advice for someone coming on a Garlands boat party?
