It’s full moon once again and this time we are headed to brand new beach concept Atzaro Beach on Cala Nova. The new concept opened a couple of weeks ago and has quickly become one of the hottest spots on the island. The choice it offers for you day at the beach makes it hugely popular with couples, groups of friends, couples and families. Tonight, however, it’s all about the moon, as she rises high above the beach location on the north of Ibiza, giving us an opportunity to celebrate her beauty, give thanks and embrace her energy, in the company of good friends.
Tonight’s Full Moon celebration is brought to us by ToBe Events and Toby and Belinda are on hand to welcome everyone as they arrive at Atzaro Beach. Jon Sa Trinxa is providing his usual amazing musical backdrop as people mingle and catch up with old friends. There are holistic treatments available and readings to keep us entertained. The moon is starting to rise but is as yet barely visible, so in true Ibiza fashion the moon rise celebration is delayed slightly. When it finally shows, Toby reminisces about his childhood growing up on the island and his wish to some day share the experience of the stunning moon rise with friends and family. Who said dreams don’t come true?
Shovel The Drum Warrior provides a percussive accompaniment as everyone gathers at the edge of the cliff as the celebratory chanting begins. Each person has a glass of water and is invited to hold it up to the moon, swapping energies and making a wish. After the celebration it’s back inside to Atzaro Beach for a three course gourmet feast before more music and a fire show later. The Full moon is a beautiful experience and one that doesn’t come along that often throughout the year, Ibiza provides a special place from which to enjoy it.
