It has been another monumental season for Luciano at Ushuaia but the party finally stops on Thursday September 27, not before one final bow out however and Luciano has enlisted the help of some very special friends to help see his party off with a bang. Masters At Work, Michel Cleis, Mendo and Alfonso Leon join the colourful host as they say a final goodbye to the island’s most famous outdoor venue. Luciano played an integral part in the success of Ushuaia’s launch year and he has followed it up with a record breaking second season that has seen capacity crowds pack the pool area in front of the iconic stage on a weekly basis.
One of the highlights of the summer was the recent collaboration between Luciano and Richie Hawtin that saw the duo take over Playa d’en Bossa for the day! Cadenza and Enter joined forces and two clubs, Ushuaia and Space, for the mother of all parties, running from 5pm until 7am and featuring some of the hottest DJs and producers on the planet. It is this sort of thinking outside the box that has ensured that cadenza remained one of the strongest parties in 2012, that and a summer line up that showcased an amazing array of talent. Laurent Garnier played a live set that captured the imagination of the Cadenza crowd and, as always, Luciano was ever present throughout the whole season. The closing party promises to be much more of the same as two of the scene’s true legends return to the island for the ultimate double act.

Masters At Work, or Little Louie Vega and Kenny Dope Gonzalez if you are too young to remember that they use to always play together, have been playing out solo these days and to great acclaim as, individually, they are two extremely talented professionals. But as a duo, they are truly unstoppable, they have provided more ‘moments’ between them than the rest of the world’s DJs put together and their appearance at the Cadenza closing promises to be one of the high points of the season. The party starts at 5pm, it’s anyone’s guess when it will eventually finish, one thing is for certain though, it’s not one to be missed!
