Bright Young Things

Another month, another shoot. In July I helped style a great shoot for GF Creative. “Bright Young Things” – their new campaign for GF’s website. Off we trotted to Cala Bassa beach club and just as the sun was rising out of the perfect crystal blue sea a group of chica’s were getting ready to shoot some fashion. Ibzcode, Susie Wong and B o h è m e, to name but a few designers, hand picked by Mari and Alix, the girls at GF Creative, who also sourced the location and took care of the production for the shoot. With Smack on hair and make up, everything was just about ready to go.

With the shoot underway our model Lucie got her frolic on in a fabulous fringe bikini by Columbian brand Agua Bendita (available at Kissed Ibiza) and the beautiful tie dye kaftans by B o h è m e. It was a burst of colour on Cala Bassa beach with its famed aqua blue bay as a back drop – the image was to die for. Our photographer Nicole Kotrbova flown in from the mainland was getting warmed up for what was going to be a great shoot. Moving on to the casual look, with a quick make up and hair change, Lucie was set, in cut off shorts, a powder blue jersey tee and with some fabulous Boho jewellery, she looked every bit the Boho Queen.

A change of location, in convoy moving up to San Agusti, a hidden village sat neatly behind San Josep, all the girls arrived, busily getting ready for our early evening look. Cerise pinks set off the skies with gold statement jewellery and colourful platforms. San Agusti is home to a quaint little church that sits on top of the hill, this particular Sunday it served as a great backdrop for this shoot. With beautiful jacket by Victoria at La Galeria Elefante pieced together with on trend platforms and a shocking neon pink clutch, who knew a cream vintage jacket would be rocked by this season’s big neon, on the roof of an old Finca! With our evening look it was time to bring out the metallics, in the shape of Susie Wong’s one shoulder silver jump suit. A door way with a bell and a fierce looking model, our photographer Nicole was in full swing. Ready for our finale and what better way to finish this shoot than in a wonderful disused boat in the middle of the Ibicenco country, with a deep ocean blue dress, clutch and powder blue stiletto’s. The GF Creative shoot was complete.

This is a mere taste of great things to come from GF Creative. These girls want to sell your summer brands all year long on a global scale at just one click. The island of Ibiza is already adored globally, so this seems to be a natural progression for the white isle. GF creative is answering a true need. I’m on the edge of my seat girls!
