Bermuda Boat Party launched in Ibiza in 2010, a collective of young entrepreneurs who had been running cool bars in Playa D’en Bossa decided to join forces and launch an event marketing agency, one of the events was the Bermuda Boat Party. In the short time that it has been going, it has been a huge success, capturing a truly cosmopolitan crowd and bringing some of the world’s finest talent on board. Partnered with Aquabus Ferryboats, they operate out of Discopoint in Playa D’en Bossa, where they have built up a strong loyal following and where their boat regularly sells out.
The Bermuda Boat party is slightly different from most of the others available throughout the island. The boat leaves Playa D;’en Bossa and heads over to Formentera, partying all the way. When it reaches Formentera, it docks and everyone hits the beach for three hours, before getting back on the boat where the party continues as it heads back to Ibiza. It is the ultimate trip, taking seven hours and incorporating a day out into the equation. The Sonovisa sound and lighting gives the boat a real club feel and the list of partners that Bermuda works with is full of top names. Sonica radio is a regular broadcaster from the boat where those on the island not fortunate enough to get a ticket for the boat can tune in and check out the party!
The collective organises mainly maritime events and the Bermuda boat has been one of the most successful by far. They have also added a San Antonio to Benirras party this summer to compliment the Playa D’en Bossa to Formentera party that they are renowned for. The likes of Cocoon Recordings, The Face Of Ibiza, Amnesia, Sankeys, Mb Electronics / Marco Bailey, Pornographic / Cristian Varela, Carnival and Diynamic are all names that are associated with the Bermuda boat and many of the DJs that feature at these events can be found playing for the Bermuda party faithful. While most boat parties leave around six and return after the sunset, this is a boat party with a difference, you have the party on the way to Formentera, the beach while you are there and the party back, it really is the ultimate day out partying on a boat.
