The old abandoned Zoo at Benimussa Park opens its gates for the first fiesta of the summer showcasing four outdoor arenas of music and performance in the forest hills of Ibiza. Summer home to legendary Saturday daytime event, The Zoo Project, as well as Ibiza's most colourful party, Holi Garden Festival, the open-air festival-style venue is one of the last remaining places in Ibiza where you can truly get down with nature under the sun and the stars. Besides the intense dance-floor madness of the Seal Pit or the sunshine vibes of the Treehouse stage, holistic centre, The Mandala Garden is also open for another summer of live ethnic music, meditation, healing vibrations and visual performance. Whilst over in the Living Room is a more intimate gathering for fans of disco or eclectic sounds. Simple Records and Aus Music label boss, Will Saul, returns to the Zoo after some sublime sets there in recent years, while Dana Ruh will play her first Ibiza date of the summer. Ibiza institution Jose de Divina and US maestro Bill Patrick add a classic feel to a solid Zoo Opening line-up. Summer starts here . . . All four open-air arenas at the Zoo have been renovated this winter as the venue takes things 'back to nature'. Continuing its ethos of using reclaimed and vintage materials the Seal Pit, Treehouse Stage, Mandala Garden and Living Room have all got a new look for 2015. The Zoo swimming pool will be open throughout the day so bring your bathers, whilst the Mandala Garden offers massage, tarot reading and a host of healing and wellness treatments. Market stalls and live music contribute to the festival vibe, whilst the hungry hordes will be delighted to find Ibiza's best burgers provided by the already well-loved 202 Burger. Cocktails flow all day in the venue's Wunderbar and the VIP Potting Shed. Come early, explore, enjoy, and leave late. First swim of the year, first dance of the year, first Zoo sunset of the year!
