Es Paradis Ibiza 2013
Es Paradis first opened in August 1975 by Pepe Aguirre and artist Lluis Guell, who also created Café Del Mar. Like many of the top Ibizan venues, Es Paradis was famous for its outdoor facilities. The island regulations of 1990 saw the club enclosed and the iconic pyramid roof was born. Visible throughout San Antonio, the extravagant 120 ton roof hints of a magical experience within, which is exactly what Es Paradis delivers.
Loosely translated as 'Heaven On Earth', the white interior and enormous natural gardens make it one of the islands more spectacular venues and also a popular hang out for celebrities while they are on the island. With four VIP areas, three chill out bars and three dancefloors, there is plenty to keep you entertained once you are under the breathtaking pyramid roof. Es Paradis attracts a younger crowd than most of the other venues but don't let that put you off, the atmosphere can be electric.
The popular San Antonio venue is home to numerous parties, including Hed Kandi every Saturday, Ibiza Rocks after party on a Wednesday, two famous water parties 'Fiesta Del Agua on Monday and Friday, recent addition Propaganda on a Thursday and Fabulush, which is on Sunday night this summer. Es Paradis is a thriving venue that has been at the heart of entertainment in San Antonio for over a decade, it remains one of the must visit clubs and the range of parties that it offers covers all tastes. From the glamorous world of Hed Kandi with cool house tunes and stylish crowds to the Ibiza Rocks after party, where live music takes centre stage as the DJs who played alongside the bands at the hotel earlier in the night, entertain the live music livers with an eclectic mix. For those that like their night out with a large helping of fun, Fiesta Del Agua on Monday and Friday provides the option to get your underwater groove on. Es Paradis has seen the sleep fishing port of San Antonio become a throbbing metropolis of neo and noise, it's not for the feint hearted but is well worth a visit.
