Make a reservation at El Bigotes in person the day before you plan to eat or you will not get a table.

Cala Mastella

Cala Mastella is another one of the island's smaller beaches that offers a unique day out in the sun. Located in a cove, not far from Cala Llena, Mastella is flanked by two pinewoods providing an intimate experience. The seabed is covered in rocks so be careful if you are going in swimming or snorkelling.

There's a small pathway from the edge of the beach that leads you into the fishing port of Cala Mastella, a quaint, picturesque setting oozing charm and history and home to one of the best eating spots on Ibiza, El Bigotes, a legendary fresh fish restaurant that has an unusual policy when it comes to table reservation. They have no phone so if you want a table reservation you have to go in person as far as a week in advance in the height of the season.

Legend has it that the King of Spain once moored his yacht and headed into El Bigotes, on the recommendation of friends, unfortunately he had not booked previously and was subsequently turned away, so you have been warned!

we say

The perfect place to head to if it all gets too much. This beach couldn't be further away from the madness of the party scene. Just a beautiful place to chill out for the day.
